What does BMI mean?

BMI stands for Body Mass Index, and it is used to broadly categorize a person as underweight, normal weightoverweight, or obese based on weight divided by the square of the height.

It is calculated by dividing the number of kilograms of body weight by the square of the height of the body. It is commonly used to measure the degree of body fatness and reflect whether you are healthy as a standard.
